The countdown is on: Is your company ready for the Digital Product Passport?

Dear heartpiece enthusiasts

The Digital Product Passport (DPP) will become mandatory for numerous product categories in the European Union between 2025 and 2030 – e.g. for textiles, coffee, construction and electronic products and will be rolled out in 3 phases:

🧡 2027: Minumum DPP (Basic Data around Material, Source, Recycling-Information)
🧡 2030: Extented DPP (detailled Lifecycle-Data)
🧡 2033: Full circular DPP

The final DPP will transparently display the digital identity profile, material composition, origin, repair instructions, proof of conformity, disposal instructions, and life cycle data via a QR code, NFC, or RFID.

There is therefore a lot to do in the area of product data: data must be prepared and enriched. In our view, companies that start now will gain a clear competitive advantage!

Together with the TUM fml – future.meets.logistics. Chair of Materials Handling, Material Flow and Logistics from the Technische Universität München, we have worked on a DPP Readiness Check.

The check is ONLINE and, thanks to its depth, wonderfully comprehensive. We are therefore offering a FREE session to complete the questionnaire.

You can either go through by yourself within 15 minutes, or you can use our guide and co-founder Rico Hänel free of charge and receive support. Rico has kept the following days free in his calendar for you until September 16 (see calendar booking).

How does your company deal with the issue of DPP – have you already activated data strategies or are you planning initial pilot tests?
